Condensed phase flame retardant
Gas phase flame retardant
Advantage:
Small amount of smoke when burning
Good flame retardant effect, but poor flame retardancy compared to bromine
Disadvantage:
Poor thermal stability
Most of them are not water resistant and the flame retardant effect is not lasting
