Waterproof coating
Acrylic waterproof coating is a single-component water-emulsion type waterproof coating prepared by adding pure acrylic polymer emulsion as base material and adding other additives. The waterproof film formed by the curing of the waterproof coating has a certain degree of extensibility, elasticity, plasticity, crack resistance, impermeability and weather resistance, which can play a role in waterproof, anti-seepage and protection.
The waterproof coating has good temperature adaptability, simple operation, easy repair and maintenance.

There are two types of waterproof materials on the market: one is polyurethane waterproof coatings. Such materials are generally made of polyurethane and coal tar as raw materials. Its volatile tar gas is very toxic and difficult to remove, so it was banned in China in 2000. The polyurethane waterproof coating that is still on sale uses bitumen instead of coal tar as a raw material. However, when using this kind of paint, it is generally diluted with organic solvents such as toluene and xylene, which also contains toxicity; the other type is polymer cement-based waterproof paint. It is composed of a variety of water-based polymer emulsions and high-quality cement mixed with various additives. The flexibility of the polymer (resin) and the rigidity of the cement are integrated, making it excellent in impermeability and stability. Its advantages are convenient construction, low comprehensive cost, short construction period, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Therefore, polymer cement-based has become the protagonist of the waterproof coating market.
Waterproof coating refers to a kind of coating that can prevent rainwater or groundwater from leaking by the coating film formed by the coating.
Waterproof coatings can be divided into emulsion type, solvent type, reactive type and modified asphalt according to the state and form of the coating.
The first type of solvent-based coatings: There are many types of these types of coatings, the quality is good, but the cost is high, the safety is poor, and the use is not very common.
The second type is water-emulsion and reactive polymer coatings: it is difficult for this type of coating to disperse various reinforcing agents, fillers, and polymer elastomers uniformly in the colloid. It can only be added by grinding With a small amount of compounding agents, reactive polyurethane is a two-component, easy to deteriorate and high cost.
The third type of plastic modified asphalt: This type of product can resist ultraviolet rays and has good high temperature resistance, but the fracture elongation is slightly poor.
