• Nitrile Rubber (NBR): Gloves of this material are considered an alternative to NR gloves, as they are made from synthetic rubber. Both Natural Rubber Latex and Nitrile gloves are often called medical grade gloves, as they are tested and approved at the factory by the FDA.

Like latex, nitrile gloves can also be used for long periods of time, and protect users from infectious materials and contaminants. They are also available in white, black and various colors to distinguish the polymer and for contrast on specific applications.  Most industrial Nitrile gloves are Green in color.
