Hydro-seeding is an efficient and reliable way to permanently grass and plant areas that are particularly large or hard to reach, suffer from challenging soil conditions and challenging Terrain. Hydro-seeding is the ideal solution to overcome these challenges.

Hydroseeding is often used as an alternative to the traditional process of sowing seed, as the process is quicker and has a significantly increased level of establishment due to the fertilisers and biostimulants included in the liquid seed.

Most seed mixes can be sown using the Hydroseeding process including Wildflower Seed and Tree and Shrub seeds. The seed mix is sprayed on to the area via the use of the Hydroseeding unit and a spray hose.

Hydroseeding is highly beneficial when planting large areas, such as a highway verge or large infrastructure project. Hydroseeding can be completed in a very short period of time. It can be very effective for sloped areas and eliminates the risk of slips, trips and falls associated with traditional techniques.

The mixture applied this way protects the soil from erosion and drying out until the grass and plants are grown. The composite for the hydroseeding process is based on water which is enriched with mulching materials, soil additives, fertilizers, adhesives and seeds. The components may be customized, so the mixture perfectly matches the needs of the soil in the current area.

RF-8130 allows it to literally hold the grass seed to the surface of the soil while allowing air and water to pass through it into the ground facilitating the germination of the seed without allowing any negative hydrophobic impact.
