Medtech (Medical Textiles)
Medical textiles are textile materials such as medical, hygiene, infection control, barrier materials, polymer implants, medical equipment and smart technology that support medtech (application areas) such as fibers, yarns and fabrics. Medical textiles can help various products when dealing with medical practices and procedures (such as treating injuries and dealing with medical environments or conditions). Medical textiles also include fibers used to grow human organic tissues.
In the United States, medical clothing is a medical device regulated by the FDA. The FDA regulates surgical isolation gowns as Class II medical devices that require a 510(k) pre-market notification, but non-surgical gowns are Class I devices and do not require pre-market review. Due to the controlled nature of surgical procedures, surgical gowns only need to protect the front part of the body, while surgical gowns and non-surgical gowns need to cover almost the entire gown. During the Ebola crisis in 2014, WHO issued a quick advice guide on personal protective equipment workwear.

Mobiltech (textiles used in transportation, automotive and aerospace)
These textiles are used in automobiles, [[railroads, ships, airplanes and spacecraft. For example, truck covers (PVC-coated PES fabric), car trunk covers (usually needled felt), lashing belts for cargo lashing, seat covers (knitted materials), seat belts, and cabin air filtration Non-woven fabrics (also covered in indutech), airbags, parachutes, boats (inflatable), balloons.
These textiles are used in cars, ships and airplanes. Many coatings and reinforced fabrics are used in engine materials, such as air ducts, timing belts, air filters, and non-woven fabrics for engine sound insulation. Many materials are also used inside the car. The most obvious are seat covers, seat belts and airbags, but one can also find textiles for sealing. Nylon has a certain strength, and its high breaking strength is used as an automobile airbag.
Carbon composite materials are mainly used in the manufacture of aircraft parts, while carbon fiber is used in the manufacture of high-end tires. High-strength polyester is used to make balloons.
Oekotech or Ecotech (ecological protection textiles)
New applications of textiles in environmental protection-floor sealing, anti-corrosion, air cleaning, water pollution prevention, water cleaning, waste treatment/recycling, sedimentation area construction, product extraction, household sewage treatment plants.
Packtech (Packaging Textiles)
Packaging textiles are materials such as fibers, yarns, fabrics, and polymers that contribute to the manufacture of various packaging, silos, containers, bags, straps, canvas coverings, tents and tents.
