What is gluing
Gumming is to cover the surface of the fabric with glue to obtain a certain thickness of glue.It can be used as the bottom coating before calendering glue processing, can also be used as the processing of adhesive cloth.
There are three main cases of gluing process
1. The adhesive layer requires very thin, and requires high air and water permeability resistance, to use the gluing method many times gluing.
2. Some fabrics have small strength and cannot withstand the pressure during calendering operation.
3. In some occasions, when the formula or process does not allow the use of calendering method, it is also necessary to use glue: or for the bottom coating processing before the fabric calendering glue, to make up for the insufficient penetration of the glue to the fiber.
What is dipping
Dip glue is to infiltrate latex or glue into fabric organization, make fabric fiber attached adhesive layer.Dip glue is generally only used as the bottom coating before calendering glue, in order to improve the adhesive between the glue and the fabric.
