Eco hydroseeding adhesives

The process of hydro seeding begins with a proportionately combined product of wood fibre mulch, seed, and fertilizer and a tackifier (type of adhesive) mixed with water. It is then applied by a high pressure spray unit to evenly cover the soil anchoring itself like a blanket of interlocking fibres. The layer sets, forming a crust over the ground. This creates a incubation nursery for the seed to germinate. This crust also protects the seed from exposure to the harsh elements such as; wind, sun, drying heat, birds, etc. that are damaging to the germinating seed, which results in a loss of seed product.
