What is emulsion
Emulsion is a mixture of two or more types of liquids, where one liquid (for example, droplets) has a tiny or even ultra-microscopic size, and they are distributed with each other. These are usually formed from the components of the liquid in natural form or more commonly using mechanisms such as stirring, provided that the mixed liquids are not mutually soluble.
Some common emulsions are milk (a dispersion of fat molecules or droplets in an aqueous solution) and butter (a dispersion of droplets of an aqueous solution in butter in fat).
Application and use of emulsion
Emulsion is very famous in all fields of science. It is used in the tanning and dyeing industries and in the manufacturing process of plastics and synthetic rubber.
